Adam’s journey into technology began in 2009 after spending eight years in the construction trades. That hands-on background shaped how he approaches technology today—practical, purposeful, and always focused on how things are actually used. By 2011, Adam launched the company, and while the name has changed and certifications have grown—including extensive Apple and third-party training—the vision has remained the same. Adam has always been an early adopter, drawn to the potential of new technology when it’s implemented thoughtfully. He believes technology should serve a purpose, not become a distraction. If it doesn’t support the vision of the person or business using it, then it’s not the right solution. That philosophy continues to guide every recommendation and implementation. At the heart of Adam’s work is a desire to partner with people—understanding their goals, their businesses, and their lives—and helping them use technology as a tool to move forward. Sometimes that means using existing solutions in creative ways. Other times, it means thinking completely outside the box and building something new. That problem-solving process is what drives him. Adam is also a strong advocate for his clients, often stepping in to work with vendors, troubleshoot roadblocks, and ensure technology decisions truly support growth. He’s passionate about helping businesses become more productive and loves seeing the moment when technology finally “clicks” for someone. Those lightbulb moments are the foundation of this company—and they always have been.
Lisa has always been an improver at heart. Growing up on a farm she learned early that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. That mindset meant patience, persistence, and refining the details—sometimes repeating the same process dozens of times until every component was just right. Before joining iCan, Lisa worked in finance, helping people plan for their futures. That experience shaped her strategic approach to problem-solving: making thoughtful decisions based on real circumstances, building plans that are sustainable, manageable, and repeatable. She believes long-term success comes from optimizing the resources people already have and investing in solutions that last—not quick or flashy fixes. Lisa joined iCan in March 2019—just two days before COVID lockdowns began. Fortunately, she and Adam are married, which allowed them to pivot quickly and continue moving forward without missing a step. During periods when client work slowed, they focused on strengthening the business itself, refining processes, and sharpening their vision. Today, Lisa supports iCan’s operations and strategy while continuing to grow her technical skills, including earning Apple certifications. Though she never imagined she’d be working daily with advanced technology, the values she learned on the farm—strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment—remain unchanged. At iCan, she’s here to work, to improve, and to help the business and its clients thrive.
